Visual Manifestations of Psychological Distress and Hope in the Drawings of Gaza’s Children in the Time of Genocide

Tamer Institute for Community Education is pleased to invite you to attend a series of community-based psychological and research dialogues discussing the outcomes of the "Return Home" initiative.

This initiative seeks to give voice to the testimonies of displaced Palestinian children from Gaza, examining the role of drawing and writing as a sanctuary and a tool for reclaiming memory and confronting attempts at erasure and annihilation. It also reflects the outcomes of sessions held with facilitators from the Tamer Institute, attempting to uncover expressions of psychological distress and hope within the children's texts and drawings.

This series addresses questions of psychological and community knowledge from a position of "living anxiety and helplessness," drawing upon two analytical studies prepared amidst the ongoing war of genocide and starvation.
